Roswell, Ga. – The Roswell Goodwill store will host a grand opening celebration on April 13 at 9 a.m. marking its relocation to 10779 Alpharetta Highway. As a part of the celebration, Goodwill leaders will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony and conduct drawings for Roswell store gift certificates all weekend long.
The facility is one of the nonprofit’s nine retail stores in Fulton County. “The Fulton County community is very supportive of Goodwill and our mission to put people to work,” says Summer Dunham, director of public relations for the nonprofit. “We look forward to providing our loyal donors and shoppers top quality service at this new location.”
Originally opened in 1996, the Roswell store continues to be a busy location for Goodwill. Revenue generated in the store helps fund the organization’s mission, and this year more than 23,000 North Georgians will be placed into jobs with support from Goodwill’s job training and placement services.
Goodwill presently operates 57 retail stores, 58 donation centers and 13 career centers. With nearly 92 years serving the Atlanta and North Georgia area, the nonprofit is poised to keep a laser-focus on its mission, while providing convenient places to donate and exciting places to shop, for many years to come.
