Dear Goodwill Shoppers, Donors and Jobseekers,

For the health and safety of our guests and employees, effective Friday, May 22, all Goodwill shoppers, donors and jobseekers will be required to wear a face covering or mask that covers the mouth and nose at all times while visiting our locations. Children under the age of 2 and those with medical conditions that preclude them from wearing a mask are exempt from this requirement.

We believe this additional safety requirement is necessary to maintain the safest environment for our guests and our employees. The use of face masks is recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control in settings where it is difficult to maintain appropriate social distancing to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. All other safety policies will remain in place including metering the number of guests in our locations at one time and all social distancing practices.

Our guest ambassadors at the entrance of each location will ensure that all guests entering are wearing the appropriate face coverings. Guests will not be permitted to enter if appropriate masks or face coverings are not worn. While some may not prefer to wear a mask, at this time, we think it’s important to err on the side of extreme caution to keep everyone in our facilities as safe as possible.

Goodwill of North Georgia takes our position as a good neighborhood partner seriously and believe the policies we put in place are important to the overall health and safety of our community.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
