Goodwill® Week 2018

ATLANTA – May 6 to 12 is Goodwill Week 2018, a full week of community job fairs and recognition events for the people who support and benefit from Goodwill’s mission. From Monday to Friday, rotating Goodwill of North Georgia career centers will host job fairs to help local job seekers network with hiring employers and interview for open positions. Employers will be on-site at each location recruiting workers for professional, retail and warehouse positions.
“Goodwill Week allows us to connect employers and job seekers at our 13 local career centers,” says Elaine Armstrong, vice president of marketing. “This year we will connect more than 24,000 North Georgians to employment, a feat which would not be possible without the job readiness training and resources offered at our career centers.”
Individuals planning to attend one or multiple job fairs should plan to wear professional interview attire and bring several copies of their résumés. All career centers can be located via the location finder on Goodwill’s website. Information on the week’s other activities is available on the Goodwill Week events calendar.
