Battle of the BIZ! Gala

Do you want to compete in the Battle of the BIZ!?

Goodwill’s Battle of the BIZ! program is an opportunity for graduates of Goodwill’s GoodBIZ! program for entrepreneurs to gain additional training to take their business to the next level. The program includes 8 weeks of workshops designed to support entrepreneurs who have been in business for at least 3 years.

Participants who regularly attend sessions and successfully complete the program will be eligible to compete in a pitch competition to win a $10,000 cash prize. Participants may pitch for $10,000 to purchase equipment, cover marketing costs, consultant fees, or any other tangible costs that will enable the business to grow.

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Previously completed Goodwill’s GoodBIZ! program for entrepreneurs
2. Many entrepreneurs have more than one business. When pitching for the $10,000 cash prize to expand a business, the business in the pitch must have the following:
   1. At least 3 years of income
   2. A written business plan
3. Commit to actively participating in Battle of the BIZ! workshops and completing assignments.
