We offer help to veterans looking for jobs.

At Goodwill of North Georgia, we offer veterans job assistance, supporting your transition from deployment to employment. That’s why we developed the First Choice Veterans Program.

Working with you, we assess your skills and work experience. Then, partnering with local employers we find an appropriate position for a “working interview” – a paid, two to six-week trial period. If it’s a good match, you’re hired long term.

With the support of Veterans Administration, Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, and hundreds of employers, Goodwill is trying to make sure that every veteran comes home to a job.
