Georgia Women in Highway Construction

A non-traditional highway construction training program for women who like the outdoors and hard work

Receive hands-on skills training and job placement assistance through this seven-week certification program in highway maintenance and construction. Participants can earn at least one professional certification in Highway Construction; OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification, CDL Training,  CPR/First Aid Certification and a Georgia State Flagging Certification along with job placement.

Eligibility: Unemployed women age 18 and older who own a reliable vehicle and have a good driving record. Must be able to push, pull and lift 75 pounds.
