The Goodwill Marketing Department is your key to access the information and resources you need to create co-branded messages, traditional and new media advertising, news stories, articles, videos and photographs. We urge you to contact us as the first point of reference for any marketing assignment that involves Goodwill of North Georgia. We understand that in a 24-hour news cycle, time is often a luxury you may not have, so when deadlines are tight, contact us as soon as possible and we will work to get you the information, resources and interviews you need.

Interview Guidelines

In an effort to give you the most authoritative and accurate information possible, we ask that you coordinate all interviews regarding Goodwill activities or program participants with our marketing team. Even if you already have direct contact information for interview subjects, contacting our department first will allow us to provide faster service, background information and additional elements for your stories and projects. Our marketing staff is available for interviews, fact checking, quotes and to provide images and graphics.

Advertising and Logo Guidelines

We welcome the opportunity for inclusion in your advertising and on your website. In order to protect our brand identity and to ensure our logo is used correctly, we ask that you request logo usage rights from our Marketing Team. The Marketing Team will provide you with the needed assets, brand guidelines and approval to use the Goodwill of North Georgia branding elements. We also have “I support Goodwill” materials that are available upon request.

Photography/Video Guidelines

In order to protect the privacy and appropriate sensitivity of our donors, customers, employees and program participants, in all cases, photographers/videographers must receive permission from our department before taking pictures or shooting video in our facilities. In most cases, a media representative will also need to be present during the photo/video shoot. We can help you determine where to set up to achieve the best shots and make necessary arrangements with managers and staff on site.
