Employees of Griffin Goodwill Reflect on One Year Mark Since Destructive Tornado
One year ago, an EF-3 tornado caused widespread damage and destruction in parts of Spalding County, with the town of Griffin taking a direct hit and several businesses and families still working to rebuild a year later. The Goodwill store, also hit by the tornado, reopened in September with the community’s support and several team members returning to work despite their losses.
