Goodwill® a finalist for Metro Atlanta Chamber E3 Award

The non-profit is recognized for making a difference

ATLANTA – Goodwill of North Georgia was recently shortlisted for the Metro Atlanta Chamber’s (MAC) 2018 E3 Award – a recognition that celebrates the companies, organizations, and people whose work innovates at the intersection of sustainability and commerce. Goodwill is a finalist in the Resilient Communities category.

“Goodwill is the pioneer of the repurpose, reuse, and recycle model,” said Keith Parker, president and CEO for Goodwill of North Georgia. “We’re delighted to be recognized for our work in the sustainability space, and we’re so thankful to our donors and shoppers that support our donated goods business that allows us to serve our communities.”

The winners will be announced on Thursday, October 25, 2018.

The mission of Goodwill of North Georgia is to put people to work. The nonprofit has provided services in the region for more than 90 years. In fiscal year 2017, Goodwill of North Georgia provided job training and employment services to 52,485 people and helped 24,188 people find jobs or start new businesses.
