ATLANTA – Goodwill of North Georgia will open the doors to its Old National store on Thursday, April 4 at 9:00 a.m. Located at 6175 Old National Highway, Atlanta, GA 30349, hundreds of shoppers are expected to visit the new store on opening day. The new store also features a drive-up donor door, making donating even easier for those looking to drop off New Location Set to Open April 4.

“Our new store offers a modern and fun shopping experience,” says Elaine Armstrong, vice president of marketing. “Shoppers can expect to find household treasures, bargain-priced clothing, great deals on books and more!”

When shoppers enter the Old National store, they’ll find graphics along the walls telling the story of Goodwill’s mission to put people to work. Goodwill uses the sale of donated goods to fund its programs and 13 career centers located across the region and an online environment, careerconnector.org, that offers the same level of care and guidance found in the physical career center locations.

The new store is expected to bring in both shoppers and donors who will find the new location to be a convenient place to drop off things they no longer need.

Beyond the décor, shoppers will find everything from clothing and shoes to books and jewelry on the sales floor. Those who visit the store during the first four days of business (April 4 – 7) will have the opportunity to enter hourly drawings for Goodwill gift certificates.

“Thrift shoppers know what to expect at a new Goodwill store, but even if you haven’t visited us before, we think you’ll enjoy shopping with us,” Armstrong adds.
