The Goodwill location in Oakwood has reopened after undergoing renovations earlier this year. The revamp is part of Goodwill’s broader initiative to renovate several stores in the area, including Buford, Hamilton Mill, and Piedmont.

The Oakwood store and donation center, which was established in 2009, has been refurbished to give it a fresher look and feel. The checkout experience has been upgraded, and there is now a queue line with extensive new goods. All the fixtures in the store were replaced and upgraded, while all the lighting has been replaced with brighter, more inviting LED lights. Goodwill plans to refresh other locations in the coming months.
