As of April 30th, more than 1.3 million Georgian’s have filed for unemployment due to the coronavirus pandemic. As the crisis has deepened, Goodwill of North Georgia has been there helping to put local job seekers to work. Although our physical locations were closed in March for the health and safety of employees and guests, this did not stop our commitment to help North Georgian’s find employment. We’ve been connecting local job seekers with hundreds of employers with urgent hiring needs in healthcare, grocery, distribution and logistics. We have rapidly increased online capacity and service to meet demand for Virtual Career Services. And, wherever possible, our job training programs have remained open, with additional precautions for safety.

Today, with so many in need of employment, the demand for Goodwill’s career services will continue to escalate at a rapid pace. Donate today and help us continue our work to fulfill our mission to put North Georgian’s to work. Your donations will allow us to continue to offer career services and job training support and make a direct impact on our local community.
