Although Kubota was a valuable first step, Jeremy soon realized that the schedule wasn’t the best fit for his long‑term needs. Instead of feeling stuck, he used the job‑readiness and problem‑solving skills he gained during training to take initiative. While still employed, he began searching for a better opportunity, updating his resume, applying for positions, and staying proactive.

His persistence paid off again. Jeremy secured a new position with nVent, a role that offered a second‑shift schedule better aligned with his lifestyle and goals. He provided proper notice to Kubota, left in good standing, and maintained eligibility for rehire, an important professional milestone that reflects maturity, responsibility, and strong workplace etiquette.
