Goodwill Success Stories: William "Bill" CarverMeet William “Bill” Carver

I came to Goodwill with a diverse professional background, years of experience and a desire to make a difference in my community. I volunteer at the Woodstock Career Center where I facilitate workshops for job seekers, help conduct online job searches and write rƩsumƩs.

As of Fall 2011, I donated about 400 hours to Goodwill. In 2011, I was so honored to be awarded with the Goodwill Industries International Elsine Katz Volunteer of the Year Award. I’ve been told by Goodwill staff that this is the highest award a Goodwill volunteer can earn from the agency.

I am committed to the Goodwill mission and thankful that they allow me to join them as they help put people to work.
